Our principal architect, peter sikking, and Jan Mühlig of relevantive have been invited to attend the openPrinting Summit in Lexington (US). They will be working on the user interaction and usability aspects of printing, as implemented on all linux platforms.

m+mi works teams up with openUsability at the Linuxtag 2006 in Wiesbaden. It was great to talk to a wide variety of open source projects and discuss the integration of UI methods in software development.
We were delighted to see that especially enterprise software projects are making serious UI design the most important feature of their next release. These projects know they need to involve UI professionals in their development process.
At the fair, m+mi works had the opportunity to work with the KDE marketing team on defining their product vision.

m+mi works leads a workshop with the GIMP team at the libre graphics meeting in Lyon. Invited by Sven Neumann, m+mi works enabled the team to define their product vision, which is the basis for all further interaction architecture and usability processes. We thank the GIMP team for their enthusiasm.
